CHILDREN
Prams and trolleys are available by the ticket sales (1 €).
Childcare Rooms can be found by the Bear Castle and in Restaurant Pukki. Play parks for children are situated by the Bear Castle and next to Restaurant Pukki.
DISABLED PEOPLE
Special transportation is agreed upon separately. On Thursday mornings the island can be driven around by car. Disabled toilets are by the port, in South-America Building and by the Bear Castle.
PICNIC
There are picnic tables located around the Helsinki Zoo, e.g. next to the Bear Castle. Next to the Restaurant Pukki and the Bear Castle you can find grills to be used for free. Charcoal can be bought from the Restaurant Pukki and Café Karhu.
LOST & FOUND
Lost & found are taken to the ticket sale at the Mustikkamaa gate, where you can collect them. Helsinki Zoo does not mail lost & found. For more information, please call +358 (0)9 - 310 37901
We store lost & found for two weeks after which they are taken to the Helsinki Police Department Lost Property Office.
