A deer has got killed in a car accident. One of the keepers, Markku, fetches the deer in the evening. As a first thing in the morning he leaves it outside of the Cat House for further handling.

Departure of the amurleopard
A one year old amurleopard cub was dranquilised before its departure to a Swedish zoo, Nordens Ark. The veterinarian checks the microchip and prepares the animal for the journey.
There are six keepers working in the "Feline Group". Inspite of the cats we are taking care of ibexes, otters, baboons etc. Our main responsibility is to take care of the welfare and handling of the animals daily and in the special occations.
The top event for the public is the "Night of the Cats" in every September.
