16.3.2010 : Save the frogs – save yourself

The video made by school conference on 15th March 2010. Medicines found from frogs can cure many diseases and frogs also prevent malaria by eating mosquito larvae. Frogs need pure water in their environment, so by saving frogs you save also the environment and yourself!

Introduction

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Customer Service offers information for zoo visitors and media about Helsinki Zoo, animal species, their environments and protection. We organize guidance, events, exhibitions, summer camps as well as teaching in Arkki Nature School. We carry out press releases and information materials and answer questions face to face, by phone and email.
 

Customer Service staff consists of Zoo Educator, Information Officer Taru Vuori, Environment Educators Nina Trontti and Marjo Priha, Guide - Information Assistant Mari Lehmonen, Secretary Kristiina Smolander, Technician Risto Hukkanen and freelancer guides.
