| Introduction | |  | | THE UNGULATE GROUP
In the ungulate group there are 7 zoo keepers. The animals the group takes care of are for instance rocky mountain goat, musk ox, European bison, European forest reindeer and mishmi takin. Besides this we take care of some of Helsinki Zoo´s predators: bears, foxes, grey seals, wolverines, skunks, as well as waterbirds.
The basic duties are inspecting the health of the animals, feeding them, providing their enclosure with stimulation and keeping their environment clean. Beside all this the members of the group also participate in organising some of Helsinki Zoo events. |
