Tickets

Korkeasaari Zoo welcomes you all year round. Buy a single ticket or experience the four seasons in the zoo with annual card, we are open all year round! Last entrance is an hour before closing time.

At the entrance to the Zoo, a day ticket is on sale every day from 10 am, which allows you to spend the whole day at the zoo. During the summer season (June to August), a slightly cheaper evening ticket is also available at the entrance from 4pm.

An advance ticket sold in the online shop is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. The advance ticket allows you to visit Korkeasaari events where the normal ticket prices apply. Gift tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase and are also valid for Korkeasaari events.

The annual card is personal and valid for a year starting from the activation date. You can visit all of the zoo’s events without extra cost. The card also gives you discount from the Zoo Shop and restaurants.

Payment methods

In the ticket sales, you can pay with bank or credit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay.

You can also buy your own ticket or annual card using Finnish fringe benefits: ePassi, Edenred or Smartum mobile payments, or Smarum paper vouchers. The payment must be done in the Korkeasaari ticket sales, as it is only valid for 15 mins from confirmation. Fringe benefits cannot be used in the webshop.

Additional information

Small children (0-3 years old) can visit Korkeasaari Zoo free of charge.

A personal assistant arriving with a dependent can enter the zoo free of charge if the dependent’s Disability Card is marked with A. The ticket for the assistant is available at the ticket office on arrival at the zoo.

Small group / family ticket contains two adults and three 4 to 17 year old children. For groups over 10 people, please check group bookings.

Student tickets and annual cards are sold to full-time students who can present a valid student card with a photo. Of international cards, only an ISIC student card is accepted.

Senior citizen tickets and annual cards are sold to over 65-year-olds who can present an ID document as well as to persons with full pension pursuant to Kela.

Other discounts: Helsinki Card gives a discount of 2€ on normal adult tickets and 1€ on normal child (4 to 17 year old) tickets.

Annual card discounts: If you already have an annual card, you can renew it for another year. If you renew your annual card in 30 days since it became out of date, you’ll get a 20 % discount from the card. The discount is only available in Zoo’s ticket sales (not online). If you have bought a single entrance ticket, you can change it to annual card in 30 days and get the same discount!

For the annual card’s activation, basic information such as the card holder’s contact details and year of birth is required. A picture is taken of the card holder when the card is activated. For underaged children, guardian’s permission is required to add them to the registery.
